Again with my ever-growing need to assign smart commands to third-party programs. Basically, I want to do this via hotkey in Listary Smart Commands:
Note that FileMenu Tools is a set of commands placed in context menu, the items "Pack to Folder" and "Unpack to Folders" are submenus.
Is it workable?

I am using the > to start a search in Windows Explorer. Usually, I am looking for a folder to navigate to - not for a specific file. But there are so many file matches, that I can't find the desired folder in the list.
Is there any way in the search to specify that I want to match Folders ONLY (i.e. do not display file matches)?

Hi, I am new to the discussions. Not sure if this should be a bug or a question, but I had been happily using Listary 3.51.776 which would start with Windows 7 (Win7 Professional, using an administrator account,) but having updated to version 4.01.1175 today, Listary no longer starts with Windows. (It also prompts me with a Windows UAC prompt, something I don't remember from before, although I might have had UAC turned off in the past.)

When I want to tag a keyword(s) to a note within Evernote's desktop app, Evernote's native search box pops up so I can select from existing keywords, or add new ones. When Listary runs, it takes over the Evernote's "Tag Note..." function, but of course it doesn't have access to Evernote's tagging function, so it basically blocks my ability to assign tags to my notes. The only recourse is to close Listary. Since I use both Evernote and Listary frequently, that's not a viable solution.
How can I exclude the Evernote app from Listary search?
I remember this was costomizable in older versions.
Is there a list of the values to enter for Default File Manager for the most common alternative file managers? I'm using Directory Opus and have no idea what to use for the parameter or which executable to use for the path (dopus or dopusrt), or whether it's even necessary at all. I was thinking it might be helpful to post a list of these settings with the default install paths and/or the most common variants.
Is it possible to revert to Listary 3? Version 4 is running slowly, I don't use any of the new or improved features, and I have been getting Windows Explorer crashes since updating.
Hi, hope you can help/advise.. a. I'm used to typing a few characters in a file manager pane and the relevant entry being highlighted. If I run Listary, its results GUI - may completely obscure the file manager pane (depending on window size etc). - is often completely unnecessary - does not disappear if I click on the item in the file manager window (often part hidden by Listary's results GUI). b. I would like.. - an option to not display the results list (at all?) - the results GUI to vanish when I click on the file manager GUI
I'm using explorer and XYplorer (as default file manager). The path to XYplorer is set in Listary. My primary interest is in using Listary for folder favorites and recent files, as (e.g.) Foldermenu and FileBox Extender do not integrate with XYplorer, whose author has specifically made XYplorer compatible with Listary.
I'm probably missing something blindingly obvious, so apologies in advance. I've read thru a few posts, but not been able to find an answer (probably already given)..

can you make it possible to make the PROJECT search results comes first? or add an option to switch that? because, i use the PROJECT function a lot. in my opinion, when i want to jump direct to a project folder, i would like to make the keyword very short, and it'll be much more convenient if i could type the keyword and hit ENTER right away, isn't it?
have you noticed that the lastest listary still does not support some open/save dialogue in software like AutoCAD? is there any possibility to fix that?

for example, I want to open the folder "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc" to edit the file "Services", but I forget the folder name and the file name, I just remember the files "Services" and "hosts" are in the same folder, so, I type "hosts" in Listary, then I can jump to the folder "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc" through Actions.
But the Action menu need several steps. If we can use a hotkey, say "CTRL + ENTER" (or use mouse right click), open the folder directly, it will be more convenient.
Further, I hope other Actions can also support hotkey instead of the Action Menu, for example, we can use "CTRL+C" to copy the highlighted item, or "CTRL+M" to move the file to current folder, and so on.
In explorer, if I press WIN + S, the local-search pops up in the bottom right corner firstly, if press WIN+S again, the global-search pops up in the center of the screen. But I just need the global-search, don't need the local-search, I know I can disable Listary in current application, but if I do this, the MENU ( mid-click or double-click) is also disabled!
I mean I want to disable the local-search but keep the MENU in explorer, because I like the Favourite and History in listary menu very much!

I've been using Listary for a long time now on XP and recently moved to Win7. I have a NAS and I use CIFS/SAMBA and mount a share drive, mapped to Z. I added Z:\Media to the Listary menu. Unlike on XP, when I open the Listary menu it doesn't offer the '>' when I mouse over 'Media'. I also tried adding UNC path (\\Volume_1\Media - the result is the same (screenshot below). The Downloads folder in the screenshot is the default, local, download folder in Win7, and it seems to behave just as I remember from XP. Clicking on those Media favorites works fine and opens the correct folder.
Is it some Win7 UNC/security thing? missing feature in v4.x? Something else?

I'm running Listary 4.01.1191 on Win7 x64.
I have tried to set up ` as my hotkey for listary, but it doesn't works. I have to use key combination. Definitely, one key is more faster than a key combination. So could please allow this function in the future version?
